Prerequisites For Instruction

The following prerequisites are really just recommendations and are offered solely for your benefit. In essence, it is very strongly suggested that any golfer considering instruction from me be serious in their desire to improve. Most of my students fall into two categories: 1) the golfer who is extremely motivated to become the best golfer that they can be, or 2) the golfer who may not have the time or desire to seek out their true potential, but still wants to understand what a fundamentally correct golf swing is so they can work on it at their leisure. The casual golfer who just wants to have fun (nothing wrong with this!) or the golfer who wants a quick fix is not a potential student of mine.

Your skill level is almost irrelevant, even a beginner can be motivated to learn, although there are very few beginners who will be that serious, and I do suggest having at least six months under your belt. The key point is that you must be willing to practice, preferably at least 3 days a week at the range with a few minutes of practice at home almost every day. Of course, the more you practice, the more success you will have!

Once a person has attended a CE Golf School or Private CE Golf School, hopefully they will see me for some follow-up instruction at least once or twice a year, either in the form of private instruction or my Video Lesson By Mail option.

I teach golf swing fundamentals, not band-aid instruction, so if you were to only take a few hourly lessons from me I guarantee that my teaching would be of no help to your golf game. This is why I require that everyone begin with either a CE Golf School or a Private CE Golf School. This way, you learn the entire swing at once and any further instruction, if any, is basically feedback to help you stay on track and to help you further your undestanding of correct golf swing fundamentals.

If you aren't willing to commit to an improvement process, please don't waste my time and your money! I am not interested in giving lessons to golfers who have no chance to improve because of a lack of discipline, motivation, or patience! Golf is probably the most difficult sport you will play, and as such, you can expect significant improvement to come only from continued refinement of your golf swing, which takes years of practice!

If you really do desire to improve and feel you have the necessary qualities, I would very much like to work with you!
