Why You Should Consider A CE Golf SchoolMy CE Golf Schools are about learning an incredibly amazing golf swing, but the instruction is only of benefit to certain golfers. I suggest you honestly evaluate yourself as you read through the next few pages if you're considering this instruction option. I do offer alternative instruction options that are more appropriate for the majority of golfers. At the vast majority of golf schools, your potential improvement will most likely be minimal. The reason is simple, they all try to make changes to your swing in a short period of time. They attempt to do this as you wear yourself out hitting a ton of balls on the range. Not only will your ability to concentrate wane, the amount of golf swing change that can be accomplished in a week is very limited and, even more importantly, it's physically impossible to permanently change your swing so quickly! You should already know this, it's common sense. Don't believe the hype and false promises! While most golf schools would probably be better classified as golf vacations, my CE Golf Schools are intended to be more like a college for those who want to build a solid foundation of knowledge. The goal is to get you to understand the fundamentals of a manipulation-free golf swing so that you will have the tools necessary to become a much better golfer. However, before considering this instruction option, keep in mind that it is geared toward those serious about improving their golf games and who are motivated and willing to practice. The manipulation-free swing that I teach in the CE Golf School is the swing Ben Hogan used and it is an entire swing, you can't expect much improvement if you only apply part of it. CE Golf Schools are either ten or fifteen hours of instruction, but if you prefer, and you're local, you can choose to learn this swing through hourly instruction (intervals of at least once a month or longer). The hourly option will take longer and is more expensive for the same amount of education, but the advantage is you receive feedback with each lesson. When you return home after attending a CE Golf School you will have to work at what you learn—the harder and more often you work, the better your results will be. As with anyone making significant improvement to their swing, you will get frustrated at times. If you can't handle frustration and you can't dig deep to find patience when you have to, don't waste your time and money coming to a CE Golf School. If you don't possess these qualities, or you can't develop them, you are not golf improvement material! At a CE Golf School you will not beat thousands of balls on the range while fruitlessly trying to change your golf swing! Instead, you'll spend your ten or fifteen hour session learning the concepts of a fundamentally sound manipulation-free golf swing. Yes, you will be using a golf club and making partial and full swings, mostly in slow motion. I will not let you waste your time trying to learn a golf swing while your brain and body are preoccupied with hitting golf balls (any follow-up instruction will include hitting balls, but not during the initial instruction at a CE Golf School). Learning the manipulation-free swing in slow motion rather than while hitting balls is crucial because no one, not even professional golfers, can perform any of the movements correctly at first. This is true even when trying the movements in slow motion! Think of it this way, when you learn a new dance or you study martial arts (or any other complex movement), you first do it in slow motion because you want control over the movements you are trying to learn. As your control improves and the movements become more familiar and automatic over time, you begin to speed them up. So why would you try to learn a golf swing, not only at full speed, but also while trying to hit a golf ball? That would be like trying to learn a dance while on stage in front of an audience, or martial arts movements while in a fight! Yes, CE Golf Schools are different than other golf schools, with good reason! What I've done with my CE Golf Schools is concentrate the learning process so that you will acquire an understanding of the manipulation-free golf swing and how to apply it. Consider that when you practice, you become the instructor—your brain trying to teach your body how to move—so you had better understand what it is that you are trying to teach your body! One thing you won't get with a CE Golf School is the generalized instruction you'll find at big name, high volume schools that, by the very nature of being high volume, have to cater to the average golfer. If you want to be average, go work with them! I can't stress it enough, my instruction is for the golfer who is motivated to improve and is willing to do what it takes—work—to reach their goals, whether it be to break 80 for the first time or to consistently shoot in the 60's. As you can probably tell, the emphasis of my CE Golf School instruction is on the full swing, however I do discuss two chipping motions because they are essentially mini versions of the full swing and are therefore a good way to help develop understanding of the full swing. I will gladly discuss other aspects of the short game if you want. If you're a golfer who has a strong motivation to improve, meaning you're willing to keep practicing through the inevitable extended rough patches, I hope you'll consider joining me in San Antonio for a CE Golf School or Hourly Manipulation-free Instruction.
